Kalpana Vishwanath

Co-founder and CEO of Safetipin, a social enterprise that uses technology and apps to collect data for the safe movement of women in urban spaces. She founded Safetipin in 2013 to combat increasing violence against women and girls in public spaces.

Besides Safetipin, she serves as a board member of the Partnership for Sustainable Low Carbon Transport (SLOCAT) and the International Centre for the Prevention of Crime (ICPC), Canada. Dr. Kalpana is a senior advisor and consultant at the Safe Dehli Initiative (Jagori), on the advisory board of UN Habitat, UN Women and the Department of Women and Child Development.
