Every sector needs a woman's perspective for developing holistic and sustainable solutions. This database is a platform to bring together those exceptional few women who have broken glass ceilings in the mobility sector to represent nearly half of the population that remains underrepresented to a large extent.
Sahana is an energy professional with nearly 7 years of overall work experience in energy sector and over 5 years of specific work experience in the electric mobility sector with focus on EV charging infrastructure and its grid integration. Presently, she is working as an Energy Advisor at GIZ and is involved in electric mobility activities. Previously, she has worked with EY LLP as an Associate Consultant in the Electric Mobility Team for close to two years. Her focus areas include electric vehicle policies and regulations, grid integration of electric vehicles, smart charging and renewable energy.
She is an electrical engineer who further pursued M. Tech from TERI School of Advanced Studies in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management. Additionally, she holds a post-graduate diploma in Transmission and Distribution Systems from National Power Training Institute (NPTI).
