Swati is a Senior Communications Associate - Integrated Transport with the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. She is responsible for developing communication, outreach, and stakeholder engagement strategies and content for subnational e-mobility initiatives and the Forum for Decarbonising Transport of NDC-Transport for Asia (NDC-TIA). Swati has over six years of experience in campaigning and advocacy from previous roles at Purpose PBC, Parisar, and Sustainable Urban Mobility Network (SUM Net) India. Her work covered various issue areas (such as sustainable mobility, gender equality, and climate action), work verticals (research, policy analysis, stakeholder and donor management, capacity building, and proposal writing), geographies, and languages. With an India Urban Fellowship from Indian Institute for Urban Settlements in Bangalore and a master’s in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics, Swati seeks to build a career at the intersection of campaigning and advocacy that promotes participatory decision-making and leverages creative storytelling.
